The University of East Anglia is accepting applications for the Sonny Metha Scholarship for Writers (International Creative Writers) in the UK for the 2021/2022 academic year.

The scholarship will support a talented writer from the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East or North Africa. It will enable them to undertake study in the prestigious department of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing at UEA.
Similarly, candidates who self-identify as Roma in the application form under ethnicity will also be considered.
Worth of Award
- It is worthy of note that the scholarship is worth £28,500.
- It will cover tuition as well as a maintenance grant.

It is absolutely necessary to note that students who qualify for this scholarship cannot be in receipt of any other awards or scholarships.
